In September Muhadin travelled to Nalchik to take part in the celebrations to mark the 300th anniversary of the Battle of Kanzhal, where the Kabardian people were victorious over the Tatars. In memory of this, Muhadin has especially created an oil painting on canvas 150×300 cms. using a fusion of abstraction and realism, with echoes of the classical miniature style.
